ChasingCarUK have the pleasure of offering a this special edition Golf GTi Sportline Cabriolet. Registered in 1992 with 6 former keepers, this car has benefited from plenty of care in her years. The Golf GTi Sportline was a run-out model of the legendary Mk1 GTi Convertible, enhancing the appeal of the car with this Flash Red paint, Recaro seats finished in black and red, and black BBS 'RA' wheels. With its sub-10 second 0-60mph time and a top speed of 108mph, the Sportline was clearly no ordinary Golf convertible. Only 449 were built and it's thought that less than 200 remain, making it an attractive proposition for collectors. Finding a car like this is still possible, but the hardest bit is to find one that has not been modified with silly exhausts and lowered suspension as well as having plenty of history and drives as it should...... and this is one! The same car with only 26000 miles has recently sold for £26000 and there has been others over the last few years backing up that upward value trend, either being sold in the private advertisements or have been sold though the auction houses. So why buy this? Hopefully I may have answered that already, but as you can see the mileage is significantly higher than the more expensive cars hence why we have this available at a very sensible price!! Have a good look at the photos and see the piles of paperwork that goes with the car. It comes with the electric hood and tonneau cover, a fresh rocker cover gasket, cam belt and oil change, oil and air filters replaced and the most important thing is that the areal now feeds the stereo and you can actually listen to the radio whilst enjoying that summers day run! I personally have had the pleasure of running a Mk1 Cab before as a daily driver, my kids spent 4 years growing up with the roof down smiling and it is because of that I have not let them see this one yet as they will do anything to get me to keep it! Those are the memories no-one can buy...... perhaps this could be the car that gives you that grin on your face??? Any questions, please do get in touch!

ChasingCarsUK are happy to take vehicles in part exchange, and will also consider helping people sell there cars too. Not only will we sell, be we have the facilities and contacts to be able to offer restoration services too. An questions please do get in touch, here to help if I can!!
